Guitars shimmer, and Mimi Parker’s percussion—though still sparse—feels more resonant, giving songs an understated but enveloping sonic presence.

“Do You Know How to Waltz?” stands out as the album’s most dramatic gesture. Clocking in at around fourteen minutes, the track is an exercise in patient build-up and prolonged tension.
